A small paved footpath leads from Cala Mendia to Cala Anguila, which is less than 10 minute walk away. Both bays are blessed with fine, white sandy beaches and turquoise-blue water.
The nearby harbour town of Porto Cristo invites one to take a stroll through the harbor and visit one of the various fish restaurants. The well-known „Cuevas del Drach“ are also in the immediate vicinity and are a worthwhile excursion.
The next largest city, Manacor is only about 15 km away, the capital Palma about 66 km.
